Japan Earthquake 2011


The Japan earthquake and tsunami in 2011 was the first disaster in a developed country for which the Humanitarian Coalition launched a joint appeal. The member agencies of the Humanitarian Coalition wanted to learn from this first response to a disaster in a developed country. This report outlines the findings of the evaluation conducted by a team of experts from the Canadian Research Institute on Humanitarian Crisis and Aid (OCCAH).
