During our Nepal appeal, Cowater created an extraordinary and moving online video featuring the people of Nepal and inviting Canadians to give to the Humanitarian Coalition. This assisted us in spreading the word about the beauty of Nepal, the importance of helping the people of Nepal rebuild after the earthquake, and gave viewers an indicaction of how they could help.

Canadian Advocacy Network - Ottawa, ON
As a group, the members of the Canadian Advocacy Network felt compelled to help in some capacity both to raise funds for the Humanitarian Coalition and to draw attention to the great work they do. Thanks to the generous support of organizations like WestJet and Summa Strategies Canada, CAN was able to coordinate a fundraising draw, and its members helped sell tickets at local Ottawa area events. Grand prize was two roundtrip tickets anywhere WestJet flies! CAN also facilitated complimentary ad space in political news outlets the Hill Times, National Newswatch, and iPolitics, to help raise awareness about the HC.
Solidarité Internationale du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean
The "Centre de Solidarité Internationale du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean" held a concert and collected donations for the Humanitarian Coalition's Nepal Relief Appeal. The initiative brought together three musical performances by Mosaique, Les Coueneux and Racines at the Cégep of Jonquière. It was a fabulous night inspired by solidarity with the people of Nepal.
