Through our partnership with 20 VIC Management, we will be featuring our first ever Emergency Response Zone on July 29, 2017 at the Pickering Town Centre. When crisis hits, Canadians are generous. They want to give, be involved and feel that they are part of something bigger. By bringing the emergency response to Canadians, and helping them understand the power of gift, we can have a real impact, and save more lives. These Emergency Response Zones will show Canadians what food rations look like at a refugee camp, will teach them what the 5 pillars of emergency response are and will educate them about the realities people endure when facing disaster.
Outside of an active appeal, the Humanitarian Coalition raises money for its Canadian Humanitarian Assistance Fund, which responds to smaller, localized disasters that do not receive enough media attention to generate public interest, and funds. Please donate today and help a child, a woman or a family that will see their lives shattered by disaster. You can make a difference with your donation.
