Mission

Islamic Relief works with communities to strengthen their resilience to calamities, and provides vital emergency aid when disasters occur. It helps the impoverished access basic services, including education, water and sanitation, as well as healthcare. Islamic Relief provides lasting routes out of poverty through its sustainable development schemes. Its integrated approach to progress is transforming communities worldwide. Islamic Relief tackles the root causes of poverty and makes sure that the world’s most vulnerable people have real influence in both its programs and advocacy.

Vision

Islamic Relief is guided by the timeless values and teachings of the Quran and the Prophetic tradition (Sunnah), which recognize that people with wealth have a duty to those who are less fortunate.

Humanitarian Assistance

Islamic Relief aims to be the first on the ground when an emergency strikes, providing vital emergency aid when disasters occur. The organization helps the impoverished access basic services, including education, food, shelter, water, sanitation and health care. Islamic Relief also works to support orphans and children, help people get jobs and build livelihoods to support their families, and protect vulnerable communities from future disasters, preventing the loss of lives and property.
